Overview
Metrics is a new analytics product designed to give startup founders and indie hackers instant access to their most important growth metrics. Unlike traditional, complex analytics tools, Metrics is fast, free, and beautifully simple—offering Apple-level clarity and Stripe-quality polish.
Problem Statement
Founders often drown in overly complex dashboards (e.g., ChartMogul, Baremetrics) that require heavy setup and present too much data.
Key challenges:
- Too much clutter and complexity
- Setup overhead before seeing value
- Difficult to extract insights quickly
Design Direction
Metrics delivers instant, elegant growth tracking by connecting directly with Stripe and visualizing core metrics in clean, immersive charts.
Key challenges:
- Aesthetic: Apple clarity | Stripe polish | MailerLite simplicity
- Color Palette: Monochrome base + subtle accent for data
- Graphs: Spacious, minimal, elegant hover interactions
- Layout: Browser-spanning, generous padding, no widget clutter
